Career Zone brings NWU students closer to the world of work

The Career Centre of the North-West University (NWU) recently launched a brand new career services management system across the three campuses in Potchefstroom, Vanderbijlpark and Mahikeng.

This new online portal, better known as CareerZone, is a comprehensive web-based career services management solution that enables the Career Centre to provide services to more students and alumni.

CareerZone enables students and alumni to register and explore jobs and internships, to upload their CV’s to be accessed by employers recruiting via the NWU, to RSVP for career events and to gain access to other great employability resources.

“The Career Centre opens doors for students and alumni by playing a vital role in promoting employability,” says Hope Abrahams, information officer at the Career Centre in Potchefstroom. She explains that the Career Centre aims to facilitate the nurturing of future employees as well as matching industry needs to skill, culture, qualification and mind set.

Access the CareerZone by clicking on this link – https://nwu-za-csm.symplicity.com/ – and entering your student number and password.
