Reflecting on the tournament, NWU netball coach Segopolo Motsumi said: “The tournament has had a great turnout as most schools now show a strong interest in participating. It remains the only university-level tournament in our district. We have also noticed many students who played in the first and second editions of the tournament are now registering at our campus and continuing to play netball.”

Through sports and events such as the netball tournament the NWU is proving its commitment to the community and future students.
