NWU Vaal Postgraduate Open Day 2015 – Investing in YOU!
The benefits of having a postgraduate qualification are widely recognised – improved employment prospects, higher average lifetime earning potential, and a greater sense of personal fulfilment. With this in mind, the Vaal Triangle Campus of the North-West University (NWU Vaal) will be hosting its first-ever Postgraduate Open Day on 15 August 2015.
Investing in YOUR future
According to Prof Linda du Plessis, Vice-Rector of the Campus, postgraduate study can prove to be an exciting route to advancing within the sphere of an existing career as well as opening up new employment opportunities. “At the North-West University we believe that employability is about so much more than just a qualification, it is about having the skills and attributes that employers want and that will allow you to make the most of your potential” says Prof Du Plessis.
On the 15th of August all three campuses of the North-West University will be hosting postgraduate open days and during these not-to-be-missed events, potential postgraduate students can familiarise themselves of the University’s framework for training, study support, and career preparation. “Whether you are new to the North-West University or already a student of one of our campuses, our Postgraduate Open Day is an ideal opportunity to learn more about our postgraduate programme offerings, our research capabilities, and to meet our staff and current students,” explains Prof Du Plessis.
