NWU Mafikeng Campus to host international conference on Health Science Education, Leadership and Practice
The Department of Nursing Science at the Mafikeng Campus of the North-West University (NWU) will be hosting an international conference on Health Science Education, Leadership and Practice from 15 to 17 April 2015 at the Birchwood hotel in Boksburg.
This conference will afford health practitioners, educators, leaders, human and social scientists, other scientists and students across the globe the opportunity of sharing their knowledge, practical experiences, research and network with one another through concurrent abstract sessions, plenary sessions, workshops and social functions.
The conference is funded by the Atlantic Philanthropies, which is a private foundation created in 1982 by US businessman, Charles F "Chuck" Feeney. The Atlantic Philanthropies' grant-making supports health and social projects in Australia, Bermuda, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, the United States and Vietnam.
The conference will address the following subthemes: Human Resource Development, Teaching and Learning, Safe Health care practice and contemporary health issues.
Submission of conference abstracts is still open until 16 February 2015.
