NWU´s solar car fighting strong winds!
The third day of the gruelling Sasol Solar Challenge presented a huge obstacle – crosswinds of up to 60km per hour. Keep in mind that the North-West University´s solar car weighs less than 200kg!
The team managed to cover 345.9km for the day that brings them to a total distance covered of 1518.3km.
The team will reach Graaff Reinet by the end of the day.
