Making a difference through art
The Green Campus Committee of the Vaal Triangle Campus of North-West University (NWU Vaal), as part their on-going campaign to promote the Green Campus Initiative, recently held an art competition on campus. The art competition theme focused on the importance of the environment and saving energy.

Madeline Evert, Green Campus Committee Chairperson says that the response they got for the competition was very good, “... we received amazing art form the students and this is an indication that students are aware of their environment and want to take part in such activities”.
