Jacques Petzer

Jacobus Petrus Petzer, BPharm, MSc, PhD (NWU) is a professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the NWU.  He has extensive experience in medicinal chemistry and drug design.  His research interest is the rational design of drugs that block the function of the monoamine oxidase enzymes.  He has supervised numerous postgraduate students and has published several papers in peer-reviewed international journals.

Jamshid Moori

I have produced more than 150 original papers and conference articles during the period 1975--2014. During this period I also supervised various honours projects and produced 23 post graduate students (6 PGDiploma, 9 MSc and 8 PhD). Currently I am supervising 3 PhD, and 2 post-doctoral students.

Erhabor Sunday Idemudia

Erhabor Sunday Idemudia is a full professor of research (Social Science Cluster) at the School of Research and Postgraduate Studies, HSS, Mafikeng Campus. His research interests span through four focus areas: the application of clinical issues (psychopathology, mental health, wellbeing and therapeutic interventions) in prisons, African migrants, refugees and other vulnerable populations; gender studies and developing African-oriented intervention methods with the understanding of illness attributions based on cultural knowledge in Africa.

Klaus Kellner

Prof Klaus Kellner is op 27 April 1957 in Okahandja, Namibië gebore. Hy is 'n herkose C2-NNS-grgradeerde wetenskaplike tot 2016. Sy kundigheid is in plantegroeidinamika met die klem op volhoubare grondbestuurtegnologieë, die impak op verwoestyning, die grond-agteruitgang en droogte (DLDD in Engels) en die herstel van weiveld-agteruitgang het, meestal in droë en semidroë stelsels, asook nywerheidsbeskadigde plekke.

Lourens Marthinus du Plessis

Navorsingsprofessor in Fakulteit Regte aan die Noordwes-Universiteit, Potchefstroom, Suid-Afrika en voormalige professor van Publiekreg aan die Universiteit van Stellenbosch.  Stigtingsdirekteur by die Universiteit van Stellenbosch/Universiteit van die Wes-Kaap se Navorsingseenheid vir Wetlike en Grondwetlike Interpretasie.

Martha Sophia van der Walt

Prof Marthie van der Walt het haar MEd (2006) en PhD (2008) onder leiding van prof Kobus Maree (UP) as studieleier/promotor voltooi. Kwantitatiewe en kwalitatiewe navorsingbenaderings word in haar navorsing gebruik. Haar navorsing fokus op die moontlike waarde van metakognisie vir die onderrig-leer van wiskunde in die 21ste eeu om selfgerigte leer (SGL) te bevorder.

Sias Hamman

Sias Hamman, BPharm, MSc, PhD (NWU) is ʼn navorsingsprofessor in die Eenheid vir Geneesmiddelnavorsing en -ontwikkeling aan die NWU. Sy navorsing fokus op funksionele eksipiënte van natuurlike oorsprong om geneesmiddelaflewering te optimaliseer. Hy was al studieleier of medestudieleier van ʼn groot aantal doktors- en meestersgraadstudente en het al meer as 45 artikels in eweknie-geëvalueerde internasionale tydskrifte gepubliseer.
