I aim to empower students to understand the topics being lectured rather than to memorise facts and adding value to their careers. In my quest to instil life-long learning, I do research on integrated financial models and cross disciplinary topics.

Sonja Grater is an associate professor in the School of Economics at the North-West University (Potchefstroom Campus). She lectures undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of international trade, and also gained practical experience in the freight forwarding industry before joining the University.

Henri Bezuidenhout is an associate professor in the School of Economics at the North-West University (Potchefstroom Campus). He has several publications to his credit in the area of international factor flows, and his research mainly focuses on foreign direct investment (FDI) in Africa.
Jeanine has 12 years’ experience in the labour relations and trade union sector and more specifically 11 years’ experience as negotiator in wage negotiations. She is a registered Chartered human resource professional and has a successful track record of achieving effective and positive outcomes in various negotiations and consultations. She is also elected Chairperson of SAPTU NW (South African Parastatal & Tertiary Institutions Union) (4years).
I have published more 15 articles in the areas of optimization and financial econometrics. Furthermore, most of the students are have co-supervise (Masters Students) and supervise are conducting their studies in these two areas. Currently, I am study my PhD in the very same area of financial econometrics using nonlinear models.
Gabila Nubong is a political economist with a masters in economics and and PhD in international Relations. He is a senior lecturer at the School of Economics of the North West University,
David Dyason is a lecturer in Economics in the School of Economics at the North-West University (Potchefstroom Campus). He holds an MCom in Economics from the North-West University, which focused on manufacturing exports and transport costs from South Africa's secondary cities. David is currently busy with his PhD studies, which involve quantifying the economic impact of universities in South Africa.
I am a lecturer in Accounting. I have been at the school of Accounting for 8 years. I have lectured in Accounting for 1st years all modules CA and Non CA modules, and second year modules CA and Non CA modules, and have lectured 3rd years in the Non CA stream - Financial Accounting and have also lectured Honours - Financial Accounting students.
I am Ashley Deon Pietersen and a qualified Professional Accountant (Registered with SAIPA, qualified in 2017). I also did my Masters degree in Taxation and my study was in connection with sin taxed items. I did my articles at BR Rekenmeesters and throughout my three years of articles I have been exposed to a variety of tasks such as: Income Tax Returns of individuals, Companies and Trusts, Value Added Tax, Compiling of financial assets, Attorneys audits and monthly payrolls.
As a lecturer of fourth year accounting students I have extensive knowledge about international financial reporting. I am currently doing research on heritage assets in the public sector and my expertise extends to financial reporting by government.
